Student Health

Please notify the school of your child's prescribed medication or allergies. A copy of up-to-date vaccination certificates, required by the French Ministry of Health, should be provided at the beginning of the school year.    Medical Form

Students are assessed through continuous assessments and weekly tests (Devoirs Surveillés or DS). “Devoirs Surveillés” will be scheduled and posted for each grade level.

After being graded and commented, DS will be sent to parents who are expected to read and sign them and have the student return them the next day.

Students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades will do one English test per term.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

In September parents come to the school for a first Parent/Teacher conference in order to discuss the curriculum, assessment and learning and teaching methods.

One second Parent/Teacher conference (scheduled in January) will provide the opportunity to discuss the students’ academic progress and other classroom-related issues.

At the beginning of the school year, students will receive a “carnet de correspondance” used for communication between parents and teachers.

Parents will receive formal written reports (for French and English) three times a year.

Each student is required to make a returnable general damage/loss deposit of 50 €, in the form of a cheque (payable to AMPEI). This deposit will only be cashed and used in the case of :
- loss of book(s)
- damage to book(s)
- damage to school material or facilities
If the total value of damage/loss exceeds the deposit, the student will be billed for the difference.

The school cafeteria provides a healthy, well-balanced lunchtime meal payable on a one-off or termly basis.
See Massillon fees.
Packed lunches or bought food may not be eaten on the school grounds.
