Middle & High School
Students are integrated progressively into their classes in the French educational system in Ecole Massillon according to their level in French.
The students follow a personalized, adapted timetable, with FLE (French as a foreign language) classes and extra-help in mathematics, with the objective of integrating fully the French system as quickly as possible.
More details on the French curriculum are found on the Massillon website: Lien
The EBI also supports individual students with their return to their home country by preparing them for specific exams.
Specific support for our students
Support in French as a Foreign Language
The EBI offers specific support in French (French as a Foreign Language – FLE) and extra tutoring to international students to enable them to follow the French programme and prepare the Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat.
Different levels of classes are proposed based on the proficiency scale CECR: (A1 – C2).
Students are prepared for the DELF and French IGCSE exams and have the opportunity to take these exams during the school year.
Support in mathematics
Weekly extra-help classes in mathematics are proposed to all middle and high school international students to accompany their integration into the French school system. The classes are designed to enable students to have the necessary vocabulary to follow their mathematics class in French, to review the concepts seen in class and to help them understand and write mathematical proofs and solutions in French.
We also propose extra math classes to validate the four American math credits (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Precalculus) and to prepare for SAT exams. These classes are taught in English by a native speaker.
Native language support
The EBI offers specific Native Language classes in Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Polish, Russian and Japanese for expatriate students who wants to maintain their native language skills.

Our school is a center for Cambridge International, DELF and Collegeboard.
