Welcome to the EBI Primary school
All pupils, no matter their origin, are integrated into their classes in the French educational system and follow the national curriculum.
Native English speakers pursue their English Language classes within the international section and learn French as beginners in the FLE class. They are in immersion within the French classroom for the remainder of their day.
French expatriate children returning to France who are fluent in English and who join the Advanced class continue to make progress in their English language skills and follow the complete French curriculum
All non-speakers of French follow a personalized, adapted timetable with FLE (French as a foreign language) classes and progressively integrate into their French class.

In France, your child’s school year is determined by the calendar year of birth (1st January – 31st December).
A teacher is responsible for his/her class and you can talk to him/her with complete trust. Please feel free to ask questions that seem important to you.
In the Primary school, your child will learn to read, to write and to count. They will study science, technology, history and geography and also do music and sport, including swimming (8 weeks per year).
All these activities are important for their personal development and bring together the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that are necessary for your child to succeed at school, in their personal life and in their future life as a citizen.
